Has It Really Been Two Months?

Put it down to summer laziness but yes, it’s been a couple of months since I sent out a newsletter!  My ceramics life has been moving along in a usual way–summer classes have just finished, I’ve been filling wholesale orders and working on developing some new ware.
However, there are two more exciting updates for now. The fall class session will be starting in mid-September and I have a retail catalog on my website! Check it out and if you want to order any work, get in touch with me. I’ll be updating it seasonally, I promise!

This is some of the new ware I’ve been developing.

There are folded rim bowls-both solid and berry style, roundy mugs that hold about 14 ounces, and little mugs about 2.5 inches tall.

My non-ceramic life has been very busy lately! The Fairfax Theatre Company is doing their annual play soon and my family is the center of the company. We’re going to be performing The Importance of Being Earnest starting September 11th and right now, we’re fully involved in pre-production. My job is to costume everybody and I’m knee-deep in sewing. It’s very fun and very fancy!

Classes will be starting on September 14th and this will be the final session for the year! There will be the regular Monday night and Tuesday night classes and if it get’s too crowded, I’ll considering offering a class on Saturday morning.
