Things are Getting Better all the Time!

I’d like to offer another big, humble thank you to everyone who has been helping me with everything in my life! Recently it’s been a medley of watering the garden, grocery shopping for me and even assistance with taxes. Not to mention the always available, on-call help my family graciously offers. Thanks everyone!

And with extra help from the studio elves and students, the kilns are getting loaded and unloaded and everyone’s work is getting fired. So this class session is wrapping up almost on time. I’m not sure about the timing of the next session but I’ll send out information once it’s figured out.

It’s been eight weeks since my surgery and things are getting better all the time! I still can’t carry things while moving because it takes both my hands to use any of my modes of locomotion, but I can move around a lot better. My endurance for standing or sitting with my leg down is also improving a lot.

I’ve also been able to make it to the backyard and sit and do a bit of work in my studio recently which has been great because I’ve really missed it!
The timing of this couldn’t be better because every year my husband and I have a booth at the Fairfax Festival selling my ceramics and his paintings. Sign up happened this year before my accident and since it’s already paid for, we’re going to be there! We’ve got some helpers lined up and work to sell.

If you feel like supporting in a different way on this crazy journey, please come down and see if we have anything you’d like. My ceramic offerings will mostly be pieces that I had already made and some that I managed to make in a semi-reclining position. Sam will have beautiful landscape paintings of all sizes and fun, painted wooden toys for sale.
Our booth will be in Bolinas Park towards the back. Hope to see you there and thanks again for all your support!
