Class. Time.

This last class session has been the longest and strangest ever! It stretched ever longer as we had to keep canceling class because of extreme heat or excess smoke and then add those days onto the end of the session. As I’m writing this, I’m still working to finish all the firings!

Usually, I’m a relentless optimist, but I feel like curling up and hiding from the world right now. There’s a lot of things going on and sometimes it’s just too much. I also seem to be at odds with time-constantly impatient to get things done and yet reluctant to start things. Maybe I just need some breathing room, time with no set obligations to work at my pace.

So, I’m going to give myself a little time off. This next class session should finish at the end of November, but things being what they are currently, I’m expecting delays. To keep us safe, masks will be mandatory and I’ll continue to keep the door and window open. By then, it will be pretty cold in the evening and we’ll be wishing we were in our nice, cozy homes instead of in the cold ceramics studio with the door open! Classes will restart in the new year but not until it gets a bit warmer or Covid is miraculously under control. But stay tuned, I have a couple of interesting things coming up!

  • Stay positive, I believe things will improve. Each day presents new opportunities, new insights. New creativity. Maybe check out from the news world and just be with yourself and family. It settles the mind stuff and allows you to focus on you. And on your creativity.

    • Thanks Michael,
I appreciate the positive energy! I hope you’re staying well and taking care of yourself too.

  • Thank You so much for your heart…we are all feeling/dealing with the pressure seen and unseen from this stream we are swept up in. Please take care of your self
