It’s that time of year again!
Another year is drawing to a close with shorter days and very cold mornings in the studio. It’s almost time for looking back at how things went this year but right now it’s still full speed ahead!
I have three shows in the next two weeks and I’m trying to get as much work finished as possible.
10 soup mugs – check
28 mugs in white clay – check
4 butter boxes – check
3 big bowls – check
10 little plates – check
8 various spoons – check
3 coffee pour overs – check

10 little dishes

I’m almost there! One more bisque then one more glaze firing and fingers crossed everything will come out.
The first show this holiday season is our winter OPEN AIR OPEN STUDIO.
It’s happening this weekend December 7th and 8th,
from 11-5 at 106 Dominga Ave in Fairfax
Then, I have a marvelous and unexpected opportunity to show my ‘Coastal’ work at MarinMOCA.
Join Us for Holiday Cheer and a Conversation with Natasha Boas and Asha McGee, curators of
Opening the Mountain
Friday, December 13th, 2024
Conversation at 5pm, galleries open until 7pm
MarinMOCA San Rafael | 1210 5th Ave
Dive into Opening the Mountain with its curators and get to know MarinMOCA’s new neighbors in San Rafael. Presented in collaboration with Art Works Downtown’s 2nd Fridays Art Walk, this is a special opportunity for creative fun with friends old and new.
Featuring pop-up holiday shopping with Shoshana Parry, a Fairfax-based ceramic artist whose Coastal series beautifully captures Marin’s landscapes. Using sands from Stinson, Agate, and Rodeo Beaches, her work reflects the textures and connections to Mount Tam and its watershed — central to Marin’s sense of place.
Hot cocoa, tea, and cookies will be served!
Last but not least, the final show of the season is our favorite local craft fair!
Sam and I will have a booth featuring our newest work both ceramics and paintings!
Saturday, December 14th
Fairfax Pavilion 11-5
